The Fastpump 357AS Anti-Static model has been designed to vacuum up flammable liquids. The 357 AS kit comes with anti-static hose that has specially inserted metal wire that clips to the wand head and the drum effectively grounding out any static build up. The pump itself has specially designed metal filters that also cancel out static build up. The wand is metal and the camlock set connecting the hose to the drum is also metal. 357 fastpump AS fitted with metal anti-static scrubber This unit is designed to vacuum up flammable liuids in a controlled environment.Warning: Always have fire safety equipment at the ready when pumping or vacuuming flammable liquids. Be sure anti-static line is connected and has grounded out the 357 system. Anti-static hose and anti-static camlocks 357 Fastpump anti-static kit The Fastpump 357 was originally designed to vacuum up waste machine tool coolant, including hydraulic oil & lubricating oil, when fitted to a 60 or 205 litre drum, fastpump creates a vacuum within the drum, thus allowing the operator to vacuum up waste fluids, the main benefit of this system is that it allows waste fluid encapsulated within the drum, to be sent off for recycling or waste disposal, accordingly this reduces maintenance & handling costs. The anti-static 357 kit includes a special anti-static hose, metal camlocks and metal rod which allows it to be used with flammable liquids.Due to its simplicity Fastpump 357 is a one off investment, early models sold in 1989 are still working today and are just as efficient, Fastpump has only one moving part being the float shut off valve, the only maintenance required is a wash down in kerosene from time to time, this allows the valve to move freely up and down the breather tube. As an Australian made & designed product the 357 has been created to fit into Australian workshops, which on average have limited compressed air available, with this in mind a 2 horsepower or 9 cfm air compressor will power the 357 at 80psi and allow the drum to be filled within two minutes, a recent client completed a normal four hour task within 20 minutes using the Fastpump 357 he quotes "this is one of the best investments I have ever made, my workers can get on with doing what their paid for instead of cleaning machines."
