The Wheelie Air Vac is a powerful wet vacuum cleaner that punches way above its weight. It can recover all kinds of fluids and any solids suspended in fluids. Chips, swarf, metals, plastics etc. However there may be times when the wet oily sludge that you want to pick up is just a bit too disgusting for your new Wheelie Air vac. It will suck it up with ease but you want to put it straight into a steel drum for disposal. This is where the WAV1500W really comes into its own. You can simply lift the steel lid of the WAV off the plastic tank and then place it on top of a 60 litre drum (photo below) which will then just turn your 60 litre drum into a powerful wet vacuum cleaner. 

Or...

You may want to recover more liquid than 60 litres.  In that case pull out your old 205 litre steel drum (44 gallon) attach the transfer hose with float valve (in the picture/drawing below) onto the 20mm bung. Attach your camlock and hose to the 50mm bung of the 205 drum and Bingo you have your self a high powered drum vac powered by your WAV. The great part is that with the float valve installed no disgusting sludge will enter the WAV and as soon as it is full it will automatically shut of the air supply cutting the vacuum. As simple as that.

The WAV 1500 attached to a 205 steel drum via the transfer hose. This turns the steel drum into a high powered wet vacuum cleaner so now all the muck, sludge, oil and wet waste is sucked into the 205 drum keeping the WAV 1500 completely clean and dry. 

	The heavy duty lid of the Wheelie Air Vac 1500WD is exactly the right size to swap onto a standard 60 litre drum turning it into a powerful wet vacuum cleaner. Made from mild steel and 11 mm thick, it is sturdy, robust and provides the weight needed to provide an excellent seal for the vacuum.
	The heavy duty tank construction of the WAV means that it is robust and therefore requires an extra heavy duty lid. The mild steel two part lid is 11mm thick helping to secure a perfect vacuum seal. The foam filter cartridge is easily removed to turn the system into a super powerful wet unit.
	The float valve suspended below the lid has suction aperture ports in the side that allow an air flow to pass and once the fluid rises to a certain level the air bubble beneath the float shuttle lifts it into it's seat, cutting off the vacuum and letting the operator know the tank is full.
	This black version of the popular Wheelie Air vac shows the attached blow down gun for use in cleaning around factory floors and hard to get to places.
